A preparation for lowering the pH level in normal and breeding tanks. Acid water is typical of many biotopes, including those in which popular ornamental fish such as discus, angelfish, South American cichlids and characins live. Lowering the pH value is indispensable in keeping those fish in excellent condition, intensifying their coloration and promoting spawning. AQUACID pH MINUS does not contain phosphoric acid, which may cause algae infestation. When applying the preparation directly to the tank, the pH level should be monitored with a proper pH test. The change of pH level should not be higher than 0.2 pH a day. For fish that live in acid waters we also recommend: KETAPANG, TORFIN and QUEREX.
